2019 Alumni/Homecoming Luncheon
To Calhan Alumni,
2019 LUNCHEON is September 14th, to be held in conjunction with HOMECOMING and the COMMUNITY OUTREACH HEALTH FAIR in Whittemore Building at the El Paso County Fairgrounds. The luncheon is hosted, prepared and served by OUR alumni. We serve it, following the parade, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Free will Offering for Juicy Burgers with sides and beverages. Add a piece of pie for $1.00. EVERYONE is welcome!!
The 2018 luncheon was a GREAT SUCCESS!!! A HUGE THANK YOU goes to the Community Outreach Center for putting on the Health Fair and aloowing us to share the building When you see Patty & Calvin Jolly, please tell them how much we appreciate all they do for us. This combined event would not be possible without them & their volunteers. A GREAT BIG THANK YOU also goes to ALL who attended the luncheon, donated pies, gave of themselves, their time, labor & goods, notified their classmates & volunteered in any way. Your generous monetary gifts to the scholarship & general funds are greatly appreciated.
We rely upon the help & donations of volunteers to keep our Alumni Reunion & Scholarship Fund in existence Please help us with as much as you are able. We need at least 25 pieces donated, people to serve pie & the lunch, help us to set up on Friday, tear down & clean up on Saturday.
PLEASE PLAN TO ATTEND!. This is our ONLY annual gathering and fundraiser. We rely on email, Facebook, word of mouth & our website: https://calhanalumni.org to notify people of this annual event. SPREAD THE WORD. Please help us to get the word out there.
You may donate to the Alumni General Fund and/or the Alumni Scholarship Fund when you attend the luncheon, take it or mail it to Farmers State Bank (Calhan Branch) in care of Joan Lawson, or mail it to my address shown below. Make it payable to Calhan Alumni and please specify General Fund or Scholarship Fund. Thank YOU.
